If you get a comment guessing who you are you will get top 10?

I say false! Entered ONE shot that was fairly recognizable, lots guessed, and it definitely did not score top 10.

Depends on who YOU are.

I just got nailed for the first time in this challenge, and my score is far from the top 10.

Maybe if they guess who you are by your "style" not something more direct like a small dog dressed in adorable little costumes ;)

I think I'll get a Lexi-dog, dress it up cute, do a photo shoot, enter one in a challenge, see what happens.

Maybe someone guessing who you are will get you a bottom 10...... :-)

chicken or the egg? If you're good enough that people recognize you (a la Manny, Heida, kiwi, Jacko, jj) then yes...you probably will get a top ten. But you'll get it because your picture is good, not because of who you are.

Yes, it looks like two is not the road to blue. Although I did like "Prison Break Lexi".

I can rent Lexi out by the hour, just don't overfeed her! lol

I was rooted out 3 times in this Challenge and placed 19th.

I hope it's not EVER a factor in my case but negative karma could get you in deep, doo doo...I'd assume.

my style is recognized in the challenges from time to time but i rarely make it to the top 10.

Must be true. No one has ever guessed correctly on any of my entries and I've never earned a top 10.

Ive been recognized in a few of my entries, and not just the ones where I've included myself, some bomb, others do well, like my one and only ribbon shot from this challenge here.

I'm one of those shooters who garners a LOT of "gotcha!" comments when I enter landscape shots. Haven't got that many top-10's, but I don't think it's 'cuz I was recognized. In challenges that are landscape-friendly the bar is always high, and scores that would otherwise net top-10's frequently are only good for top-30's in these challenges, as the high scores run deep.

The recently-completed "pride" challenge is the only high finisher I've ever had without a single "gotcha!" comment, which is easily explained by the very atypical (for me) subject and post-processing.
