Amazing looking creature. Has Bugs Bunny teeth :) And I hear they can be deadly poison when eaten if not prepared properly. I'll pass on that dish me thinks.

I've had it before. It is by far the best tasting fish out there. Only problem is that there is not a lot of meat on them.

I have a dog faced puffer in my tank! The best fish I could ever imagine. He looks like a beagle, and comes up to the glass every day when I get home, and wags his tail at me. He even lets me pet him. Salt water fish really do have a greater intelligance than fresh water.

those things are gnarly. I caught one when I was fishing in Fiji. We couldn't eat it thought cuz their special chef who prepared them was outta town. I've heard it's good anyone ever had it? |

Petrakka, what you heard is correct. They taste great! I had it while visiting Cape Verde, some islands off the coast of West Africa. At the time, I had no clue how poisonous they could be, and it was actually prepared by just a native fisherman. He wasn't a certified chef or anything. It was later on that I found how how risky it is. Oh well. It was worth it that time, and I would probably do it again, even with the knowledge I now have.

They have them in Australia, I remember catching them while fishing on holiday. They are quite loud when you jump onto them...
