Hi, this is Terry's wife here.
Both of your entries are brilliant!!! Obviously the angel one looks more like me whereas the alien one looks more like Terry :-) |

Ennil. It's just for fun. You can be as imaginative as you like. Make Oliver into whatever you like, we won't get upset :-) kpriest's idea below is great, or a sweet angelic look would be fun too. As I said, do whatever you want to.
What am I doing it for? Well, just fun really. Ollie has his own blog so I guess the best entries will go there, then when he's a big bigger he can look back to see what the DPC'ers did to him. |
It's odd. I'm not referring to the "quality" of the image per se; it's just that when I open it up and make a hue/sat adjustment layer, I can only drag the slider a short distance on saturation before it starts pixelating. Typically, this is what happens when I try to do hue/sat on an image that's already been saturated before, so... I wondered.
Robt. |
I think I know why... I had to bump up the ISO quite high as the lighting isn't that great. I think it's noise that's being picked up?!? |

This was too precious of a shot to deface.
This needs to be framed and on your wall.
-----------Original---------------My version----------
Thanks for supplying the full-sized original too.
What an amazing difference that makes in retouching.
Edit to add:
Got bored and had fun:
Edit again to add:
"The winner will get a gift membership for one year."
If selected, can I donate it to someone needing it more than I? Always someone around short on funds or similar.

Nice one Brad.
A nice rendition.
I feel as though you've turned it towards the parental/smaltzy/sensible direction.
That's fine.
I can do that too :-)
Here are my final two offerings....
