So I'm thinking about getting into some micro stock sites, and I'm going to try and get the hang of this as quickly as possible. The main thing I've had trouble with so far is thinking of enough appropriate keywords to go with certain images.
For those of you who have been doing stock for a while and are making any kind of money at it, how many keywords do you generally assign to a certain image? If you're having a hard time thinking of any is there a way you usually break that mental block?
Thanks!

I like using Thesaurus.com to help with keywords. Each stock site requires a different minimum of amount of keywords.
Keywording is one on the reason I haven't made too much yet. I have some images sitting there for months without keywords.
Google the subject and you should be about to find some info and potential keywords. Almost like doing mini research papers :(

7-10 is what I usually manage. I don't go for cramming in every possible concept -- some places object to "keyword spamming" while others encourage generous interpretations.
It somewhat depends on what "type" of stock images you post: tech objects or people or landscapes would be keyworded differently. |

Yeah, I second thesaurus.com, Also look on some sites like canstock and shutterstock for for their 'popular words list', and see if any of those fit. |

Shutterstock's Top 100 Keywords
I don't know if you need to be registered with them to see it. |

Yes you can -- you'll get suspended at Shutterstock; they are very strict in their prohibition on "keyword spamming." |
