I dont know how true this is, but I was told this the other night
Takahashi makes the glass for Canon L Lenses.
Takahashi makes some very nice telescopes so Im not suprised that they also make camera lens glass

So do they just supply the "glass" or do they actually form and pollish it for Canon also? |

Man, if Takahashi does do their glass, Canon should brag about that. Their 'scopes are awesome. And the price shows it.

very good question. I have will to ask my source if he knows that bit of info. But my guess would be they make it and pollish it.

So does takahashi make all canon lens glass, or just the L series?
Does tupperware make just the kit lenses, or the mid range ones too;/ |
