Anyone know how to use the "fake" airbrush on PSE 2.0? I know how to get there (J-jey shortcut) and I have a very basic understanding of what it does, but I don't have a clue as to how to use it effectively.
Anyone have any experience/techniques that they can share?
Any and all feedback is greatly appreciated.

You would use it to paint in flat color (of varying transparency) instead of using the clone tool, or the paint/pencil tools.
It can be useful for retouching, but is usually much more effective when combined with a pressure-sensitive stylus/tablet combo; it has mostly been replaced in photography by the clone tool (which doesn't exist in the the film realm!), and so now is probably more of an illustration/painting tool.

I have PSE 2.0 also and only use the clone tool...
I have had better results with it (unless your thinking of some other application besides removing blemishes).

I believe the Wacom Intuos graphics tablet has a airbrush tool that can replace the pen as an option.
