Take a photograph of military design and engineering. Castles, fortifications, bunkers, trenches, tanks, jets, ships, new and old canons, temporary bridges, etc, etc, etc. Modern, medieval, roman, anything goes.

I like this idea. However, those in the service have an advantage.

It should be pretty easy for us Euro-DPCers lots of lovely castles to photograph.

On the other hand, those who service are at a disadvantage for a lot of the other challenges. :)

That's right. Don't forget the Atlantic Wall (WOII), Roman stuff like that in Xanten Germany: Colonia Ulpia Traiana, stuff from knights and kings, battleship replica's, etc etc. Even in the US there are a lot of places with stuff from the civil war, plane museum and graveyards in Arizona, fort replica's.

I like this idea. Most areas have some sort of military history. This will encourage people to go find out about their area...
