I'm curious as to how many total exposures I've taken with my D70. Anyone know how to find out? I can't seem to find it in my manual - which is no surprise - but my WIFE can't find it either - now THAT's saying something.

Any input is appreiciated.

Thanks,

Check the EXIF info from a pic you took months ago and one fromyesterday - there may be a serial number type thing there that increments. I have heard of such things, but no one has shown me one yet.

On my Rebel, i just never reset the file numbering, so I am at about 3,960 since i got my camera back on Jan 8.

My D70 has returned to 0000 about a month ago, because the counter passed the 9999 :)

I've heard there's a program that can retrieve the number of times the shutter has been actioned. Bu I havent tried it.

I do not believe you will be able to tell unless you set File No. Seq. to ON when you set up the camera. If you did then the file number will tell you how many shots you have taken.
