My submission for a challenge is slowly dwindling down. I am new to this so I don't know what to make of it. I am not saying its a great image, but the real question is, when do you know approx. what your going to get. Do the scores fluctuate greatly? Do a lot of more votes come in at the very end? I don't know, I just got into this site and I just started taking pictures like a week ago. I am learning as I go. I have some other ones to add later.

| FYI- You may want to take the name out, bad form to talk about individual photos during voting. |

No harm, no foul.
After around 100 votes you're going to be in the range of your final score, give or take. But of course there exceptions to that. For the complementary colors challenge I went on the roller coaster ride from hell, score up, score down, score up, score ... you get the idea.
The gut-wrenching "What are voters smoking?" question is part of the fun!

i rollarcoaster with a lot of my images. My score often doesn't settle until about 300 votes.
Thre are other times when i hit the submit to challenge button and can tell you what i will end up with.
So really the answer is, who knows?
Keep in mind though that many here sort thier photos into 4 and 6's or such and then rearrange thier votes after all are sorted. So where you might have had a 6 average from the voters, they may be putting you in thier finial position of a 5 (given that your score is dropping). |
