Awesome! Congratulations! I, too, love the 717 but I'm at the point where there are things I want to do that it won't handle. I will be keeping my 717 for back up as well.
Anyone want to buy a house? (I'm a Realtor) I need some money! LOL
I've started that camera fund, but it's slow going. |

ttreit, I got the EF-s 18-55 as a starter. I pushed my budget just a bit with the flash (420EX), remote release and 1gb CF card so the next lens will have to wait for now. Another good reason to keep the Sony handy until I have another lens or two. |
Congrats and welcome to club...
Did you pick up (16 bucks) a sto-fen Omni bounce for the 420EX...really softens it up for portrait/close-up work...mine never leaves the flash.

I have a wescott one that I plan to use. It fits fine (and I already own it) :)
