Cool!
I've seen pinhole cameras made from all kinds of things, matchboxes, 4x5 film boxes, garbage cans, and of course the usual tin cans and oatmeal boxes. You can make one for pennies.
I made a med format one when I was in Art school that had a curved film plane and a nearly 180deg FOV. It got something like 3 exposures on a 120 roll.
A friend and I made one from a 55 gal drum that used 20x24 photo paper to capture the image. We duct taped it to a picnic table for the several minute exposure and used a hand truck to wheel it around.
