It has been a kind of sucky time for celbrations.
It is Ramadan and Canadian Thanksgiving though... Maybe that will pull a few pics this evening. |

eh... we lost our homecoming game, and i'm having a terrible weekend >_< There'd have to be something fantastic to happen for an entry!

I have two really cool shots, just debating on which to enter. Maybe the DPC gods will whisper in my ear and tell me which would score better.

For me, the one I like the best bombs. It sucks when you can't choose. But it is even worse when all the pics you have to pick from are bad. |

Celebration... Should have named it irony, because of everything that has been going on.
Hey at least it'll be incredibly easy voting on this challenge, and the votes will be high up.

i've entered my first member challenge...here's my first opportunity to really get spanked by joey! (hey, that's something to celebrate right there!)
anyway, "celebration's" at 88 entries, with six hours to go. nobody else enter--that way i might have a shot at getting a "top 50" pic! ; ) probably not, though. my odd little sense of humor may be a bit dry for some in this challenge...but it's still a cool photo, imo! not a pic of the act of celebrating per se (although...) but more something to celebrate.
btw...fewer entries means more time for comments! here's my committment to you: i will provide a (hopefully) constructive comment on every entry in this challenge. consider the comment gauntlet thrown!

Me too, Az. I had one entered, then took others and found one that made me really feel good, so I entered it instead. I love it. I'm afraid there are going to be voters that say "this doesn't look like a celebration to me" because they aren't reading the description, like Mandy showed above.
With a low number of entries I think it will be a good chance to really spend some time viewing and commenting.

Just entered one but what a problem! It was all in the camera (I thought) this morning after a two hour shoot. I woke up this morning just knowing what I wanted to do, really excited. Put them on the computer this pm and discovered they were bad, bad, bad! I had got the lighting very wrong. Ended up having to reshoot in artificial light ( not my forte) and I am not very happy, think it will bomb but don;t want to feel I wasted the whole day - especially since I haven't done the ironing or any cleaning!
Oh well ,,,,,,

I think I will too. I used the few words in the title to try and show my thinking though. You may want to try that.
