Still to try this field of photography.

Looks like a macro of a Christmas ornament. One of those old fiber-covered balls maybe. So my guess... Convex!

Edit: OK... I'm an idiot. I just took the time to stop looking at the image and read the comments. I change my answer. I'm guessing it's the top of a garbage can at Costco under tungsten or mercury lighting.

Wow, some really amazing pictures posted here so far!! Here are some of mine..

Wish I could make some as good as the ones in this thread! (Makes mental note to self: get out and shoot instead of hanging around on the Net :D)

Great set of photos--I'll have to go through each of them when I have time. Isn't it time for another Abstract challenge !!!!

Here's one from my shoot the other day (motion blur of course). Comments and name suggetions welcome (leave name suggestions in comments so we don't ruin this beautiful thread).
