Here's my outtakes for the '4' challenge...
Key1
Key2
Oast House
I know that the focal point on 'key1' is a touch shallow, but thats coz I was experimenting with my new +7 and +10 macro lenses :o)

Manic, I like the house the best, and maybe key two.
Grayce, I like the first one on the page the best.

Thanks :o)
Unfortunately, with the Oast House photo there was no way of avoiding the phone lines that cut across it, and it was an incredibly foggy day, which removed nearly all the colour from the shot, hence I went with B&W.
Not sure how well any of these would have done if I'd submitted them tho...

One of my ideas for the "4" challenge was to get a shot of an IV unit at a hospital. Unfortunately, they couldn't locate one that wasn't being used while I was visiting some folks on business, so I didn't follow through with it. I was going to call it something like "Think Hard About This One" to see how many people would realize that "IV" is the roman numeral 4 :)

Kandice, thanks for taking the time to take a look. I ended up going with a non-seasonal one.
I just took a look at some of your pictures on Pbase. I love the elk pictures. I didn't know they were in Arkansas. How wonderful!
Alan, that would have been a good idea, if done right.

I had this shot of a multiple exposure of the moon in the shape of a four. If I had liked it better, woulda called it something like planet of the four moons. I was also playing around with a magnifying glass and was trying to draw a four around the moon. Here they are:
four outtakes
Grayce, about twenty years ago or so, some people from the game and fish commission and locals took 18-wheelers to Colorado, loaded them up with elk and the species were reintroduced into the state. There have been elk seen with 12x12 racks in that area. The herd I like to see hasn't been hunted although they are still wild. I got in a field of 13 bulls one day to get a better shot, about scared my dh to death!!
Those shots were with my old Fuji camera, can't wait to put my 10x IS lens on them the next time I get up there.
