after looking through the challenge history, I've noticed there are many challanges that have high scores all the top pics have high scores IE top pic is an 8, the top 10 are all 7's where some challanges the top pic is a 6.xx the scores drop off pretty fast.. just wondering if while voting if you've rated a bunch of pics 5 because they are average you come across something great and vote it a 7 or 8 instead of 9 or 10 because your use to voting lower? and vice versa when the voting is higher. but in most cases all the top pictures are very high quality, does the collective challenge "quality" affect the overall scores of all pictures in it? just some thoughts :)

I tend to put average in the 4-5 range, and above average in the 7-8 range. Then I go back and the original 7-8's often become 9-10's. I pull the better ones out of my 5-6 category and they can end up anywhere, but usually between 6 and 9. Some 4's get bumped to 5 or 6. I think the collective challenge quality affects my 6 and under scores, but I wouldn't give a less than outstanding (IMO) shot a 10 just because I feel I should give at least one 10 per challenge. (I haven't seen a challenge that didn't have at least one 10.)
