I just want to upload my photos for everyone to see and review. Is it a way to add it so I can see my own photos in the galleries?

You have to be a member to have a portfolio BTW. $25 per year.

Yeah, that's true... I was thinking that non-members had a small amount of space for a portfolio, but I was mistaken :)

You can upload them to Imageshack (you don't even need to establish a free account, but if you do, you will be able to "manage" what you upload), and then use the link they give you to post a thumbnail/link in the forums.
