I saw this word a couple times today when i was looking at lens reviews. What is it? Perhaps in laymens terms so i hav a basic idea

Here is a shot of a senior with the 85 1.2, I think it was @ 1.4.

This shot is regarded by some to have good "bokeh".

That was a fun challenge...would certainly like a "do-over" on that one! ;^)

I like the bokeh in this one I took with my 50mm 1.8. The multicolored flowers in the bed behind these two made for some interesting "color balls".
