OK, I did the math... based on roughly 44,000 DPC members/users at a list price of $25M USD, we can get this island for a mere contribution of roughly $570 USD per member/user.

Pretty doggone reasonable if you ask me, and it doesn't even require any hostile takeovers!

Great, that's certainly do-able. Should we start a sign-up list now? It shouldn't be any problem getting citizens once they see our flag.

Sure, but it should be an easy to access list so that everyone can view it to see how much interest we have at any given time. Hmmmm, how to do that?

How about having everyone who's interested list you as a favorite photographer! That way we can check the list just by pulling up your profile at any given time!

That island won't support a colony of 44,000. However, 440 people would still only have to go in $57,000/each -- not at all impossible.

You beat me too it.... for a mere $570, you too could live in total anarchy for (what should we say, two weeks?)... yeah, two weeks of total anarchy on DPC's new island getaway. Count me in! I propose a nation of small islands grouped together. I'm sure there are some uninhabited islands out there somewhere. We would have to do some dredging and stuff to form the land into the shape we want. I know it can be done cuz I regularly watch Modern Marvels on the History channel.

no national camera, just make all cameras free to citizens, and give major manufacturers tax-free office space in exchange for equipment. It could be a camera haven.
