Thanks very very much to all who voted and commented on my Greeting Card entry. I am probably the happiest girl in all of Florida today, maybe in the world!!

Not much to explain about the shot, except that yes, I did give her lots of treats to get the expression I wanted. She's a very patient little dog and is used to me taking pictures of her.

Here's one from last summer...

I'm sure you will see Lexi again sometime :)

I thought Lexi was a ten. The card you made was one of only about 4 or 5 that truly follow the challenge. If I was looking for a blank birthday card I would buy yours. Excellent job.

I can't believe how you were able to get her to sit for you!! Did you train her yourself? I have two shorthair black/tan wiener dogs. My female would have cowered down and peed...my male would have just had the 'look' and tried to take it off. LOL

Very cute picture!!!

Thanks guys! Lexi (Alexis Arabella) is 3 years old. She's been with me since she was 10 weeks old. And, yes, I trained her myself. Lucky for me, she's really smart, but even luckier - she'll do ANYTHING for a treat! :)

I've stuffed her in little costumes since day one, never leave em on her for more than a few minutes, but its totally worth the giggle seeing her walk around in bunny slippers or wearing a navy hat lol

Because this shot turned out so well, I'm going to try a series of them. Even ordered a couple of new costumes for her. I'll share some as they get shot.

Sue, I love your duckies too! Had them in my top group. Congrats on your 4th place finish.

Hahahaa Sue! Just saw your shots of Baily for ASPCA. He's adorable!

Yeah, dogs are great fun to work with, but have the attention span of a goldfish sometimes. lol

HEE HEE HEE We dress Tank in my sons' tee shirts and sport shorts - but it's a bit tougher as Tank weighs 69 pounds. LOL

He is afraid of stuff on his head, but he'll wear clothes or things around his neck. We put weird stuff on our cat too. (shhhh - don't call the ASPCA). ha ha ha ha ha

Congrats on the ribbon!
