Thank you too everyone who liked and voted my greeting card entry into a personal best for me - both in score and placing.
I was not really that sure of how well it would do since I really liked my Rule of Thirds entry, , and it didn't even make the top 100.

funny you ask - I did try to get the cooperation of Max - the oldest pug (16 yrs old) as he has this tongue that hangs out to the side and I thought it would be perfect. However, Max was not amused by my placing an ice bag, even though it was filled with nice warm water, upon his old noggin. The old guy would not have any part of this humility.

I hate pet pictures. That said; your little sick dog and lexi (second place winner)stole my heart.

No better category for a "pet picture" than "Greeting Cards" except, of course, "Pet Pictures" :-) After all, houmorous/whimsical pictures of pets have a long history in greeting cards. Yours was actually one of relatively few entries in this challenge that I could actually imagine being made into a "proper" greeting card and being sold in a Hallmark store.
In short, I loved it! Good work!
