		| | I was wondering, how do you view your photographs' Exif information (I do not, by the way, have PhotoShop, and I do not intend to get it)? My photo-editing software (ArcSoft PhotoStudio) does not seem to have a way to display the information, and I'm really not sure how else to see it. I don't want to have to install a new photo-editing program, as I am really quite happy with the one I currently use. Is there any way I can just see the information (I'd be willing to download a small program, the sole purpose of which, would be to display said data)? Thank you all very much. |

		| | If you're running Windows XP, google "Microsoft RAW Image Thumbnailer and Viewer for Windows XP" and get it from Microsoft. |

		| | If you're using Windows, get IrfanView -- it does a great job reading most EXIF, and lets you copy it to the clipboard for pasting into any text editor. It can also you quite a bit of editing, including making custom filters, and is handy if you just need to make a quick resize.
I mainly using to browse through a folder of images, and to look at EXIF.

		| | dont forget to always work on a copy of the original pic. you dont want to accidently destroy the original exif data. just incase you need to ever validate a entry.

Need to download the additional plugins for Irfanview to read EXIF.
 Irfanview and Plugins

I can't imagine having a computer without Irfanview on it. It's a very fast default image viewer.

I can get as far as "properties" and "summary," but once there, I see no "advanced." All I get are resolution and color data (640X480, 24-bit). I'm running Windows ME; perhaps that's the problem. In any event, I thank you very much for your help.

I think you need Windows XP to get this feature.
