Just got this len and at the 4.5 through the 16 F-stop range it seems to be realy sharp, but at the 2.8 and 3.5 range it seems to be really soft. I read that it was soft at the 2.8 but still exceptable but I find it to be way soft at 2.8. Does anybody else have this lens and find this to be true also.

Can you post some 100% crop examples.

O.K. not sure what I did the first time but now it seems as though they are coming out about the same. When I first got it a ran a series of the same shot at 2.8, 3.5, 4.5, 6.7. The difference was quite noticeable, now it is not. Must need glasses.
