Venture out for this challenge, but not far! Your entry for this challenge should be taken outside your home, but not more than 100 meters away.

I like the concept, Terry, but there's no way to monitor the distances. And you know how much honor there is in the honor system :/

Its about the same as a yard or maybe a little more. ie. meter stick or yard stick. The things the teachers use to whack against the desk to get the students attention.

A clip from Wikipedia:
The metre, or meter, is the basic unit of length in the International System of Units (SI: Système International d'Unités). It is defined as the length of the path travelled by light in absolute vacuum during a time interval of 1/299,792,458 of a second. The symbol of the metre is m. |

Scott,
I've been having trouble with my email the last couple weeks (some mental midget decided to forge my domain name as the 'from' address on a bunch of spam and the bounce messages keep overloading my mail server).
Could I trouble you to resend your message?
Thanks,
Terry

True, but we have the same problem with other challenges as well -- "Your Corner of the World" for example.

A meter the basic unit of distance/length measurement in the SI system of measurement. It is the basic unit of measurement used by most of the world.
A meter is a little longer than a yard (39.37 inches), so 100m is about the length of a football field.
