Hi,
Here are couple of shots which I tried last nite which can be used as textures. Texture 1 Texture 2
These shots were taken in a very sinple way by just placing a light near to the object and not firing flash. Am sure these are not the best shots, but can you please explain me how can I do this better.

Yes, light is the key to get them more 3-d and not so flat.
You might also want to increase the color saturation, especially in Texture_1.
For the rubbers getting closer and using less rubbers might also help.
I did those type of shots once for our ladies in the office.

Hi Harz,
Thanks a lot for sharing your experience with me. I guess you have experimented a lot which this kind of stuff. Its a good inspiration for me.
Well let me try few more shots and I will post it here for comments.

I took this shot yesterday. I used a simple desk lamp and had my settings with the macro on and flash on. I can reduce the glare from the flash, so that it won't blow the photo out with too much light.
