Nikon to Olympus...Cool.... - DPChallenge Forums

This afternoon I received my adapter (from Camera Quest) to mount my Nikon lenses on my Olympus E-300. It works better than expected. In fact the meter still works when using my Nikon Nikkor 55 f2.8 macro, something that did NOT work with this lens on my D70. I now canâ��t wait for the next full moon to try out my 500 f8 mirror. On the E-300 thatâ��s a 20X lens.

Aperture priority, ESP metering and center-weighted metering works. Spot metering is lost along with automatic diaphragm action, but who cares?

Not a great image I know, but this shot of a tomato plant was taken with the 55 2.8 on the e-300.

Sorry for all the duplicate posts (SC please delete duplicates), but I was getting an error message each time to try again later beecause of an error.

Its sure been buggy lately, epecially for firefox users.

1) The fact that Nikon lense could be used on Olympus and still retain functions.

2) The pic had fairly good detail (hairs on tomato plant)

3) Site fixed is always a good thing but it was fixed before I knew it to be broken.
