This afternoon I received my adapter (from Camera Quest) to mount my Nikon lenses on my Olympus E-300. It works better than expected. In fact the meter still works when using my Nikon Nikkor 55 f2.8 macro, something that did NOT work with this lens on my D70. I now can̢۪t wait for the next full moon to try out my 500 f8 mirror. On the E-300 that̢۪s a 20X lens.

Aperture priority, ESP metering and center-weighted metering works. Spot metering is lost along with automatic diaphragm action, but who cares?

Not a great image I know, but this shot of a tomato plant was taken with the 55 2.8 on the e-300.

The pic, or the fact that the site is fixed?

1) The fact that Nikon lense could be used on Olympus and still retain functions.

2) The pic had fairly good detail (hairs on tomato plant)

3) Site fixed is always a good thing but it was fixed before I knew it to be broken.
