I got the idea for this shot from the From the Ground Up challenge, though it was never something I considered entering. The shot I entered in whichever challenge I entered (hah!) is extraordinarily generic and will most certainly get a hideous score, but this one would probably have done worse. All scores aside, I just like grimy photos, and I for some reason liked this one. I think it has a pleasant, abstract feel even though it's of nothing but a shoe. Had I had a person to go with it, I might actually have entered - but I doubt it. Anyway, comments or anything?

Interesting, in a grimy photo sort of way. I mean that in a good way. Reminds me of a Raymond Chandler mystery, I don't know why.
