There's this plugin or action that I would like to use on one of my photo's... (Or maybe there are more)
This gives a mystical, fairy look to photo's when used on trees and landscapes...
Can anyone point me in the right direction, it doesn't have to be DPC postprcessing proof, it's not for a challenge, but I've seen entry's that uses this effect, but cant find them now...
Anyone? |

Feivel's Gothic Glow is what you're looking for: go to //www.atncentral.com/download.htm and scroll down; they are alphabetically listed. Rollover demo is included. Free download. Many other very nice actions on that list.

Midnight Sepia has a mystical feel to it as well, in a different manner.

Hmm will try that too...
Well, with Bear_music's suggestion it came out like this:
If anybody has a good title for it ;) |

Very cool. Unusual among gothic glow images on this site in that the subject is left very sharp. Nice work. I like the title as it is, myself.

Unzip it somewhere, go to actions in photoshop, klick the little arrow, slect load action, point to the saved action and then you can run it by selecting it and running it. |

Whoo, I call that cheating ;)
Then again, if you are making money from Weddings or Modelshoots, this would come in very handy and I think I could spare the 179$ then...
Cool effects, will try the demo.... |

Can any of these run in the GIMP, or are they purely for photoshopper?
(If they can run in GIMP, how the *^*&^$%*& do you install them??) |

Mystical Lighting looks like a great program/plugin. The Demo didn't work for me...at least, what I downloaded was more like a tour/tutorial.
I'm having Gimp issues with my new ibook. Can't seem to get it into my system, that is. I don't believe Mystical Light will work with it.
Drummie-In PS CS Actions are located right in the same little window as History. Hit the "tab" to the right of History and it should open up. Hope that helps.

Or you could hit "window" in the top-menu and select Actions. |

That "Mystical Lighting" filter is awesome stuff, but it's worth noting that virually nothin it shows in the sample images would be DPC Legal even ina dvanced editing, because it is adding elements to the image.

Their is a different way to get this effect.
1.Copy your current layer
2.Add gaussian blur on it ( 3 - 4 is enough )
3.Set the layer on "Screen"
4.Hit CTRL+L and move the left & right bar a bit till u get the wanted effect.
