I received the private message below (in quotes) - I am not sure why.

If there are questions like this, the public forum is a better place for it. I am not even sure what the question is.

One has to take that word and its opposite and try and portray the word through 8 photographs we were given slide film and have to cross proces it c-41 way help me pls :) username shanz"

kinda reminds me of the serial killer in the steve martin movie 'the jerk' where the killer simply pulled random names out of the phone book...

not meaning to imply anything about shanz, just the randomness ;-)

I don't think that calling out a person in public when they sent a pm is proper either.

If you feel this way about a pm then you should pm SC about it and then get info to foward it to them.

yeah, that's what happens when newbies are allowed to join in. they start doing all kinds of things to piss everyone else off with their improper behaviors and lack of netiquette. better that the pissing off be left to the old-timers who know how to do it right...

the instructor probably told the students to do thier own work and make thier own interpretations and to not post the problem on the internet. But you're probably right about the randomness, unless everyone gets the same question :-)

BTW, "imposing" would make a good challenge
