Hello,
The following photo is printing to my canon with a "purple" hue to the water. On my screen the water looks blue/cyan.
Can you gurus take a look and tell me if you see purple or blue water on your screen?
Thanks,
Kenskid

I'm seeing mostly blue, but there is some "purple" around the edges of the swirl. It could be what your printer is picking up on. Are you able to calibrate your printer?

Thanks all...
Well it seems you guys are seeing the blue/cyan water as I see it. I do see a tiny bit of purple also. However, the printer is printing a sure puple hue for most of the water. Since you all are seeing blue, I will assign the blame to the printer and work on it....
Also...I failed to mention that just b4 the print, my "yellow" ink message came up saying "low". Could this be part of the problem?

Low ink could be a problem. I would check all of your printer settings first to make sure something didn't get bumped accidentally - it's very easy for that to happen (at least with me, lol).
If everything looks fine and it still prints purple, I'd change the yellow cartridge and see if that helps.

I have no Idea why it is printing purple, Sorry, But I saw this post and was wondering if someone could tell me how to calibrate my monitor, I have seen something about that on here before. |

ok gang...I printed on another printer...an HP and the water came out "blue" and not a hint of purple. So...my college education tells me that my printer is making purple for some reason. I know my yellow ink is low....could this be it? Can low yellow edge "blue" into "purple"? I don't know that much about color mixing.
Opinions???

Hello again,
I replaced my "yellow" cartridge and the purple faded to blue!
Thanks for your help.
