This came this morning from Canon Catch the impossible, Amatuer Challange
Entries must be taken at Middle School, Junior or High School Football game.
Looks like ALL cameras allowed...Digital and Film (film has to be scanned). 8x10 at 300DPI required. Probably one of those US Only things, the fine print is pretty fine so maybe someone with better eyes can find those requirements.
Prizes are killer, trip to Football Hall of fame, 2006 Pro bowl etc...

Thanks for the link... I think I may enter this. The prizes are great and the competion doesn't look too strong (at least as of now)! :) |

need releases from anyone 'recognizeable'. Since they all wear numbers, i assume that means everyone in the pic. not too onerous for team member shots, but crowd or fan shots? I can't imagine running around with 500 release forms trying to get everyone that i shot to sign it. I might take 100 - 300 shots at a game. take a shot, then get the signatures because, you know, the best shot will be the one you don't ahve a release for.
no recognizable logos is the other req,but at least they can be removed in PP.
I didn't see their definition of 'amateur'. Did i miss it? |
