I've just been voting on the 1/3rd's entries and got bored of moving my cursor constantly between the 5 and 8 mark and I thought a great solution to this would be a mind reading browser.
I could look at the picture, think SEVEN (really hard) and my vote would automatically register as a seven.
Does anyone else think this would be a good idea?

I can barely think as it is.

Maybe make it so you can use the number keypad for voting?

Here, let me help you out...

think ten, think ten, think ten, think ten, think ten...

I thought it already registered as a seven, regardless of which button you push.

Actually, research has gotton closer to this than you might think -- monkeys (with implanted electrodes) have been able to control a cursor on a computer screen using only thought-control -- without touching the joystick they trained on.

Your browser doesn't already do that?

Let me guess...Firefox does this too, right? It seems to be miraculous in every other sense according to the faithful.... ;0)

or you can just do as the troll does and keep your mouse on 1. Maybe that is his/her reasoning and way to avoid carpal tunnel syndrome.
