| Took it out to a football game tonight....man that thing fires like a machine gun...I think I'm in love. Can't wait for my 35-350l to get here tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!! |

I hear ya! When I got my 20D I was actually going through a couple of days where I just didn't feel like doing anything. It arrived and it sat in its box, unopenned, for a good 3 or 4 days. Heresy, I know! When I finally took it out of the box, enouraged by my fiance who said he'd get me a Lensbaby 2 when I took 100 pictures with the 20D, I was just blown away by it. The dynamic range is awesome, much better than the Rebel. The lack of noise at high ISO is also amazing. I am in love too and I wish I would have started using it earlier. Now I don't want to put it down :)

PS. BTW, he did buy me the Lensbaby 2....it's in the mail right now!

I've thought about upgrading to that....but it wouldn't be until taxes...so it's more of a play it by ear thing. Congratulations on the new goodie!!

This is another I am proud of. This was shot with the new 35-350 lens I got from Mick. I took over 1000 action photos this past weekend. |

The frames per second are amazing...I feel like Brooke Shields and her Calvin with my 20D ;)
I bought the Compact Flash 2 card (1 gig) - and my husband picked up a 512m Compact Flash 1 (for a backup) and I can tell you there was no noticable difference in the transfer speed/fps. There was a noticable difference in the transfer rate putting the images on the computer. Just some advice...from someone who would rather speed the extra money on lenses instead of memory cards.

I see from your site that you do many action shots...I think you will be very happy with the performance, and if you do a day game you will be amazed at the shots.
Here is a shot I took a few weeks after getting the camera - Straight off the camera and no edits.
I'd love to see the shots from your first day game. |
