Dear Diary, well another week has gone by and I am still in search of that ellusive uber-photo. Thankfully though, both of last weeks entries ended up being my two highest rated photos ever, and one of them even managed to get a comment from you know who! Unfortunetly, this weeks offerings are not fairing so well. As you know, it was a busy week. I didn't have much time to find a really great "No Hand" subject, nor did I find the time to take the 100+ shots I needed for my occupation subject. However, I did manage to get both entries submitted just in the nick of time. I wasn't really happy with either photo, and this weeks voting is reflecting that so far. On the birght side, at least I got my entry in, otherwise I would be forced to endure a week without being able to click the super addictive "update stats button"... I don't know, there's just something soothing about seeing once score change ever 5 minutes :o) Anyway, it's off to comment again. Hopefully I can make enough comments to inspire others to comment again. Talk to ya so old friend...

PS: Jacko won again! Two weeks in a row! I am beginning to suspect that Jacko, much like Master Setzler, has sold his soul and has now taken the path of the dark side. How else can one explain such great fortune! :oP

Dear Diary,

Holy crap I won again, and it's all because of my beautiful wife. First she bought the blue berries and cream, and then she showed off her cute belly button to the world. Actually, I think it all has to do with the law of averages. I submitted a picture of my cat for the photojournalism challenge so it would bomb, then my next submission would average real high. I did two really good shots in a row, so I know my next entry is going to bomb. Maybe that's why I didn't submit any photos this week.

Actually, I quit smoking cigarettes on Friday, my first effort since I started smoking 15 years ago. I kept real busy all weekend to take my mind off the smokes, not really taking any pictures. I look forward to saving all my cigarette money and buying myself a DSLR. :)

Thanks for all the nice comments on my shots.

By the way Anachronite, your BB shot really rocked. I love that type of stuff, but people don't go for it. I submitted some neat spaghetti in the Free study challenge.

Salut tout le monde et bonne chance cette semaine!!!

Thanks for the kind words Jacko. We will miss your work this week for sure. But, good luck quiting smoking. I did it six years ago and haven't looked back. I think for me the key was the fact that I really wanted to quit. If you really want to, you will. And after all you have great motivation. A new DSLR! WOOOO HOOOO! Oh, wait, that will just make it easier for you to win again!

appréciez votre semaine outre de Jacko. Nous manquerons vos photos pour sûr!
