Commented and voted on 100% of Thirds challenge! Hope people do not take offfence at any thing I have written.
Impressive Riponlady! And thanks very much for your comments on mine. Glad you liked it.
I agree. I gave out more 8 and 9 scores on this challenge than any other, and the fewest scores below 5. This was a remarkable effort by all. :-)
Obviously not enough by me (knew I should have gone with the other one). The score has been hovering and I do mean hovering for days now around 5 and only 3 comments. *sigh* so much to learn still!!! :( |

My highest finish is 80th place, I really think I am going to beat that his time, maybe even in the top 40! WHOOH, ia m gettng better, that is the point isnt it.

I agree whole-heartedly.. getting better is the point. Challenge and "competition" can do wonders to help one improve.
That being said, I've now risen to a whopping 4.92! WOOHOO! (my highest to date)

Thanks, Jaywalk (heavy sarcasm) your shot wasn't that great but you are hanging in there with 6.0 +!!!!!
What does that say about the rest of us who would love to be anywhere near a 6? I thought my shot was great and it's on 5.3! But I'm very happy with anything over 5.
Well done on Greetings Card - could be a ribbon for you there! I'm hoping to break 6 (5.9 at present) in that one which would be terrific!

| How do people know which photos other people put in for submissions? When someone says good job on your greeting card entry... how do they know? |

If you are referring to my comment, I read in another thread that Jaywalk said he was scoring 6 + or 7 and that looks like he may ribbon. I have no idea which is his entry!

You may not have any idea which was his but there are people out there that know each others entries. How do they know? Sometimes it's obvious by the model or by the distinct style. Other times it's a little less innocent. You do the math. ;)

The last 24 hours or so have been kind to me, I must be getting a lot of bumps upward or something. Or there are kinder voters towards the end of the period. It's up from a score that was pretty bad for my average (5.0), to one I don't love, but can live with (5.4).

I agree that some people's images are typical and recognisable - I was just saying I had no idea of which was jaywalk's image in this case. I do not think there is any conspiracy with this and quite honestly I don't want to get embroiled in a debate on the matter. I may be naive but I just want to enjoy taking part in the challenges and improving my scores.
