Ha -- I love it!
This reminds me of a story from my neck of the woods just a couple years ago. The Steelers had a player named Chris Fuamatu-Ma'afala, and for obvious reasons, people just referred to him as "Fu." When he'd hit the field, it would sound like everyone was booing, but they were yelling "Fuuuuuuu!"
One day he had a particularly good game, and an area newspaper -- The Butler Eagle, I believe -- had a HUGE headline on the top of the sports page that simply read "FU!" |
