....is it ok to use these for challenge photos. I am going out for a night time shoot with a friend who has an olympus dslr.Might has a chance to have a go with her camera. Is there some kind of unwritten rule about this?

Use whatever camera you want as long as you are the one taking the pictures. Just remember to put it in your file, and keep the orginal file.

I'd think that so long as you have posession of the original file there wouldn't be any problem as to whose camera it was that took the picture.

I believe it dropped in price recently. Probably in line with the 300D, D50, *ist DL now.

Any comment on how it compares to other Dslr's? Dont see them much around here.

All I know is it has the cool supersonic wave filter, which gets rid of dust, which every dslr should have.
