I'm lazy.
So today I get off my behind and decide to test the new 170-500.
Pack the wife and kids in the car and head out th the nearest bit of wildlife.
I was happily shooting, birds, lizards, squirrels and rhino's,
when I see this guy charge the car from out the long grass next to the road.
My wife flattening the accelorator and 170 mm on it's widest don't make sharp photo's. Expecting more kitties I look back and see we passed no 2 hiding in the grass, waiting for us to be ambushed by no1, so he could bring up the rear, full tilt.
Saw this guy in the quarantine camp.
Fun day. I will put some decent shots from the day in my portfolio soon. |

Seeing something like that (gorgeous as it is) racing towards me in hopes of getting a meal .. would likely cause me to either freeze in my tracks or make a mess in my pants... :O lol and there you are snapping pictures ;) Well done!!! *laughing*

Theyre actually just bored kittycats fooling around. I think the first one was either an older sister or mother teaching the teenager son/brother to hunt.
I actually asked my wife to go back so we could try again with the 18-55mm, but she yelled a lot of nasty things I couldn't catch. I heard 'hammer' and 'cameras' in the same sentance, and she had this kind of insane sparkle in her eyes which really catches the light beautifully but usually means I bunk in the guest room, so I let it go. |

Bored kitty cats.. Uh huh... *wide eyed look* ~Grins~ I volunteer with wildlife and bored wild ones are tricky business. LOL
I apparently am not the aspiring photographer I hoped to be because i'm with your wife on this one... perhaps i should hang out in DPC a bit more to learn how to sacrifice for the sake of the shot ;) laughing... a limb here .. a scratch there... Too Funny!!!
Maybe when I get my butt over to Africa I'll get a shot of something chasing me too... (hopefully it'll be a cute fella tho.. not some wildcat) heehee

Crush: Saw the whole thing, dude. First you were all like "whoa", and we were like "whoa", and you were like "whoa..."
Marlin: What are you talking about?
Crush: You, Mini-Man, takin' on the jellies. You've got serious thrill issues, dude. Awesome.
Marlin: Oh, my stomach. Ohh.
