I've been really debating about the 10-22mm lens. I remember Chiqui suggesting she'd eat top ramen for a month or so just to pay for the lens. I received some cash from my recent birthday but still need to fork out about 80% to pay for the lens.

Should I? I'm just itching at the thought. Aack!

Wow...Ramen Noodles or a 10-22mm? ...tough call, indeed.

Go for the lens.

PS 10-22...Rikki Don't Lose That Number

ehem... ...

We hear you're leaving, that's OK
I thought our little wild time had just begun,
I guess you kind of scared yourself, you turn and run
But if you have a change of heart.

You tell yourself your not my kind,
But you don't even know your mind.
And you could have a change of heart.

Maybe I should run down the store and get the variety pack so I don't get sick of just chicken flavor...

Note that Top Ramen (and similar noodles) is relatively high in saturated fats and extraordinaily high in sodiumn -- neither of which is good for your long-term (cardiac) health. Ordinary pasta with a tomato-based sauce and a little cheese is almost as cheap and a lot healthier, as are peanut-butter sandwiches on whole-wheat bread.

You can get pasta at 99 cents a bag and that lasts more than one meal if you follow the serving size. You can even get wholewheat pasta, which is healthy than 'white' pasta. The tomato sauce is more complicated. You can get fresh tomatoes from a farmer's market and make up a large batch that will last you a while or just use a cheap jar, which again works out more than one meal so would probably work out to about 25 cents a meal.

Or something like that :P
