It's an amazing animation of the drummer from the rock band Rush (Neal Peart) playing the instrumental song YYZ.

Here's the site: //bobbysbrane.com/animation%20fun/animation-fun.html

Click the link to watch it. BEWARE! It's over 40MB, so if you don't have a highspeed connection, it might take days to download.

That is so weird. I was on random play in itunes (10,000 or so songs), and just when I clicked on topic La Villa Strangiato started playing. Sorry I guess I'm easily amused by coincidence.

Oh I’ve seen the animation & I admire the work, I guess for that type of subject I’d rather see Neil.

yeah, i posted that link when i found it at DrummerWorld. it's amazing, isn't it?

somehow, i've ended up with an unusual amount of drummers in my family and my circle of friends so i'm always aware of all the drummer sites...lol.

and people wonder why i keep a headache all the time! ;-)

This is tremendous! Love the music - rush isn't a band I know ( I'm getting old so forgive me!).

Are they a US band and anyone recommend a cd of theirs and do they only do instrumentals?

I'm not in the mood to fact check before opening my mouth here, but if I'm not mistaken, they're from canada.

Yep, you're right, they are from Canada. Toronto, Ontario to be more specific.

My suggestion would be to look into some of their work from the 70's and 80's. IMO that's some of their best stuff.

//www.rush.com/ - official band site.

Chronicals features alot of their best songs.
