I sometimes get this message when I'm opening an image in Photoshop. I used a Nikon D70 and normally use iPhoto to import images off my camera.
"The document "filename" has embedded color profile that does not match the current RGB working space. The embedded profile will be used instead of the working space."
Embedded: Generic RGB Profile
Working: SrGB IEC61966-2.1
Sometimes it will also ask me if I want to ignore and keep the color profile as is, or if I want to change. Can anyone offer advice on how to best have things set up? Should I be changing camera settings or Photoshop setting, etc???
Thanks,
Dave

If you are planning to use the finished work on the web you definitely want SrGB IEC61966-2.1 as your workspace profile. It is your best hope at any sort of uniformity that what you see on your monitor will be as close as possible to what they see. Don't forget to 'embed color profile' when you save the file. Hope that helps.
