I took a friend out last weekend and we shot some great pictures but I'm not real sure about the post editing. I've already done some adjustments with the curves and what not but are there any other suggestions out there?

Perhaps thumbnails will get a better response....

First, i'd start by not taking pictures of people outside in the middle fo the day.
Horrible light for portraits.
Unsure: put Robin in front of the background, and the tree next to her tp bring the DOF closer. instead you have a huge washed out section that distracts and draws your eyes away.
stare: again, the backlighting. pose is unnatural.
bite: light is too strong on the forehead, causing a washed out highlight. Background is distracting from your model again.
fence: pose looks unnatural. highlights/tree bad
Try some burning and dodging to save these shots. If you're planning to re-shoot, I'd pay some attention to everthing in the picture, seems you were too focused on the model and her poses and not enough on the full composition in the frame.

Thanks for the suggestions. I generally don't shot anything but candid shots so I was look forward to hearing what some people had to say about my attempt. We're not going to re-shoot and without access to lighting, outside was the best I could do.
BTW, you have an interesting way of approaching helpfulness.
