| Can you imagine if it wasn't split. My guess is that it breaks 600 by midnight, all those people who love to wait till the last minute :) |

I wouldn't be able to stand waiting until midnight. I can never even wait to even get home from taking the pics to submit one.

11:15 and the total has reached 569 for the two contests.
231 for Bubbles
338 for Rule of Thirds.

Dont have to vote 20% of the total.. 20% in either one should count. That's the beauty of having 2 challenges.

I think there would still only be about 400 entries. But with two options, more people found something that they were able to shoot. Or at least some photo that they wanted to enter.
I'm no Picasso, but it drives me crazy when people enter a snapshot in a challenge that was taken with no intent to actually enter a challenge until after it was taken. I would much rather see fewer entries from people and more thought put in to them. Even if they aren't the greatest, it is better than some of the stuff.

With 'Rule of Thirds' being so generic, I dont see how it would've gotten fewer than 500 entries if the other challenge was missing.
