Shot this senior portrait yesterday, what do you think? She loved it.

I also like it alot. The pose and lighting seem very professional to me. It looks like for web posting, the edges have some jaggies, but I'm going to assume those aren't a problem on the full size file.

She looks very relaxed and natural.

The full sized image is pretty clean. I lit each one of her poses individually. I guess was really into shooting that day. I usually don't spend that much time on senior photos.

I'm not a huge fan of the background (personal taste) but the pose and lighting are absolutely top notch! I'll have to look at this a few more times because I struggle with those sitting on the floor poses.

Yeah, the background fits her style more than mine. Posing is definitely a pain in the arse. ;o)

It looks really good. The lighting and pose is well done. She looks relaxed. The photo looks a little too posed for me (personal taste) but otherwise is really good.

Does anybody NOT like the cross-processed look I used?

great job. the only thing i would change or kick myself about would be the way the nose blends in with her face. ask Mandy how she does it.. it looks great every time she does it. Thats just my humble opinion..

What do you mean by "cross-processed look"?

You use to have to shoot chrome and process it C-41 to get this look. That's why it's called cross-processing. It blows out the highlights and shifts the color.

Looks over exposed to me.

How do you achieve it now? Is it all pp or is it in the lighting or both?

It can be done all PP, but lighting for it helps.
