I'm curious what people think of this shot, which needless to say is very atypical of my work :-) I had considered it for "destinations" but went in an entirely different direction because for me this isn't "pretty" at all. But the more I look at it the more I wonder if it may not be powerful nevertheless. Comments?

Thanks to the several commenters. No, when I mentioned "powerful, nonetheless) I wasn't referring to as a "destinations" entry but in its own right as an image. I agree it's not pretty, and it's certainly (as I said) a whole different animal than my usual seashore shot, but there's a certain grittiness to it... On the whole, I have to say the mixed reactions to this shot mirror my own assessment of it :-)
