Has anybody here ever had a print done on Canvas? I know Mpix does them but a quick look through their forum showed that alot of people weren't terribly impressed... in the forum one person suggested another place called Allpconline which looks like it might be good, but if anybody else has had or heard some good experiences I'd love to hear.

Believe it or not, Kinko's can do it. If you have one locally you can go to their store and check out some work.

Note that you first have to have the print made by the lab of your choice. You then send them the print, and they carefully strip away all of the backing paper, leaving only the emulsion layer. This is then bonded to the canvas for maximum texture and stretched by hand over stretcher bars.
Remember the golden rule... you get what you pay for. And its corollary: price is only an issue in the absence of value.

I checked this place out too, but it seemed to me that they only wanted to deal with studios or other places that would deal in relatively high-volume, or at least consistant orders. From what it looked like though, they could do some really good work. Have you used them for just the occasional print?
