Not sure if this has been discussed before but I was only thinking which DPCers have had on a regular basis, ribbons elude them and have been oh so close on numerous occasions without hitting the jackpot ? Say top 10/15. How frustrating, but I bet there is a few out there who would like to share their thoughts or those photographers YOU really admire that have come so close on a consistent basis. We all know ribbons are not everything or necessarily important, but since we all strive for them, I was a little curious or better yet, bring to our attention other fantastic talent that is awaiting to emerge and crack the homepage ! :-)

Anastasia doesn't have any ribbons (yet), but she's good.

Dax-'s pictures are just absolutely beautiful, and I think she should ribbon really soon.

I have to agree Dax will be a ribbon winner soon. With 3 top ten finishes in 11 challenges, now thats a good strike rate.

I deserve a ribbon in every single challenge I enter. But I then again, I have to face reality too :(

One photographer on this site who has never gotten a ribbon but has come close so many times is Caba; he has participated in 132 challenges and had pictures end up in the top twenty of the results 18 times (on a quick count of his profile) - 8 of those in the top 10.

I like his pictures a lot.

I expect Dax and Skip(skiprow) to ribbon any week now. They are both great in their own styles.

As noted, Dax and Anastasia are obvious frontrunners on the "hurry up and ribbon already" list. Now that Elsapo has removed himself from the nominees, I'd add:

Skiprow
Samtrundle
Gloda
Lynnesite
Enigmania
Adine
Heida (She'll ribbon soon... I can sense it)

But anything in the top 20 just tickles my toes.
(And a lot of things that haven't gotten close do, too!)
