Just wondering how it compares...

They are both beautiful but IMHO you picked the correct one. Much more interesting pose tha is more provocative.

I really like them both, but the one you submitted I feel IMHO should have placed higher than it did, Im not knocking anyones photo, but I feel you should have been in the top 5.

the one you entered was better i think. the hair though is kinda funky near the ends, especially on the OT, maybe overworked hair? ;-)

I like them both, but I do feel you picked the right one for the challenge. I think the challenge entry would have placed higher if it were not for the very processed look of the skin, almost plastic. Folks will assume correctly or not, that NeatImage or other noise reduction was overused.

the submitted one had a nice crop and general feel. This one makes me wonder 'whats she looking at...'. I like this one better cuz I'm always drawn to mystery. <--doesn't sound too cheesy I hope.
They're both hot.

Yeah, I have some "un-plastic" ones I'll post later- just have to find them. Thanks everyone for your opinions! :D

I think you made the right choice! both are great pictures.

I'm jealous that you are only 17 and can get shot it this.

I hate you!!! :)

Here's one. No neatimage here. She really does have some pretty fantastic skin, but with the neatimage it might be TOO fantastic.

Could you provide a list of the processing steps you took? Also, what lens did you use?

Your photos are great and I wouldn't change a thing, but I've heard it's best to do USM only once and as the very last thing you do. I'm not a PS expert though.

You're getting close to that ribbon I predicted awhile ago!

Try subbing some more dodging for NI... I like the unprocessed look wayyyy better. :)

They all look awesome, girl!
I do agree w/ everyone that the one you chose for the challenge was the right one, but that unedited one is pretty awesome, too. Great, great work again, Katie! :)
