Well I decided that I finally couldn't stand the ugly carpet in my bedroom. I took the bull by the horns and dug my hands into the world of self carpet removal. I have to give a huge thanks to my dog Jack, who, as a pup, found out we even had hardwood floors under the carpet by chewing up a corner and exposing the wonder floors beneath. We've lived in the house for 10 years and only found out about a year ago we had hardwood floors....and BTW, I work for a hardwood flooring manufacturer...go figure.

and this is the after. I went out, bought myself some 300 count Pima Cotton sheets (oh they feel sooooooooooooo good...lol!!), a new bedspread and coming soon, new curtains.
Right now I'm just glad I'm done...whew. This fall we will have the floors in the entire house refinished. I can't wait.

Hey they came up real nice !!.
I know what big job this can be. We did a small room and it turned out to be a much more difficult job then I thought but the results was worth it. now for the rest of house!! |
