It's so hard to watch my entry go through the works. It has my highest score so far (~6.10), but it is being misinterpreted and I have to bear comments which include words such as...

"distasteful"
"twisted"
"creepy"
"scary"
"disturbs me"
"morbid"
"eeeek"

I am taking full responsibility for not seeing the possible secondary interpretation, but I can't wait until the challenge is over so I can explain myself. It's going to seem like a long time until I can do that.

OTOH, with those comments, can you believe the score is hanging at 6.1 instead of 1.6?

Counting the days...

wow, now I'm all excited! I wonder which one it is...

Heh, don't get your hopes up, it's perhaps more mundane than it appears. ;)

Sometimes:

"distasteful"
"twisted"
"creepy"
"scary"
"disturbs me"
"morbid"
"eeeek"

can be a good thing... it's eliciting feelings & reaction.

Are they all preceeded by the word "not"?

heh, that would be nice. No, unfortunatly not. OTOH I have had equally good comments...

"I love it"
"Just great"
"one of my favorites"
"has heart"
"well done"
"easy 10"

It's purely an interpretation of the picture which I did not intend (but can understand in retrospect)...

I believe i know EXACTLY which one is yours, and I think I commented on it. Rather brutally if I remember.

I'd love to know if my impressions of the picture were just plain wrong. I've gone back a few times to check again, but I don't see anything but that.

I'd explain why I feel so strongly about the subject, but I'd possibly give away which shot it is.

Unless you were hidden, you weren't busting on my picture. ;)
