Hi,

All your sales will show up in your total earnings. At the end of the drive, Drew and Langdon will cut a check directly to the American Red Cross, and your total will be adjusted accordingly.

Requests for payment of funds are not processed automatically -- they go to Drew and Langdon for processing. Any requests for payout of funds which were pledged to the American Red Cross would be rejected at that point.

I have sold another print today.

I would love to know how we're doing on this - I hope it's as successful a fundraiser as it seems like it's going to be.

I haven't been here for a while and just now saw this amazingly nice gesture. I've clicked the box right away.

I just wondered: I've sold photo's previously and about $ 13,00 is just sitting in my account. But as I'm living in a far away country, I'm in no position as to spend this amount, because if I choosed to purchase a photo, the costs of sending it over will be way to high.
Could I donate this money, that's just sitting there in my account doing nothing at all, to this AID project??? PLEASE???
Just take it off my account D&L, I know it's not a lot, but any little bit helps, is it not?

Titia

I sent out an email blast to my friends and family when Philip Dyer first started the thread explaining what he was doing and encouraged others to do the same. So I sold 4 prints a few days before Drew and Langdon set up the website link to join in. Haven't sold any since. Wish I would have waited to send out the email 'cause as it is now, the whole profit amount isn't being donated, just my part. Oh Well, every little bits helps, also got a couple of referral credits so that's good too.

I just checked a few minutes ago on DPCPrints and I sold my first print ever!!! So I feel good I will contribute to the Katrina effort. Not to mention I am offically an "artist" now :). Just kidding.

I've only sold one print EVER and that was a request before I became a paid member. I was really hoping something would sell now, but even this one:

which is on 40 people's favourites, isn't selling :(

I got in under the deadline and got a fabulous print of a shot I have always loved here on DPC.

I keep looking, but my girlfriend keeps unplugging my computer. :)

Oh, and congrats fplouffe !

*******She went to bed and I bought 5 more. I love em' and when they come in she will too. I have no idea where they will go, but they sure will be pretty.

I've loaded a bunch of new prints over the last week or so, but so far no Katrina sales. I will, as promised, contribute at least my share of the profits until at least the end of September.

Here are the new prints I've loaded in just the past week or two:

Still time to buy and have all proceeds donated. But whomever's print you buy, whether mine or someone elses, it helps!

After September 15, use //www.nrshapiro.com to maximize the Katrina donation!

I hope others are doing well!

I'd like to see the Katrina Relief Prints project extended a little longer, maybe to the end of September. Any possibility of this?

I would definitely opt in if an extension of the Katrina project were to happen! I got on board early, but have no sales at all :-( Of course, I've never sold one so.... but I have also loaded several new prints also.

So come on people, check around your walls, or desk or mantle. If you've got an empty space, this is an awesome time to get a great print from any of the very talented photogs here at dpc!

I can't get on over at DPCPrints, I was in and then it froze, every other site is fine but DPCPrints is not responding! EEK! :(
